TMA Member Superior Joining Technologies Announces New Nadcap Accreditation

Superior Joining Technologies was granted Welding accreditation by the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors
Accreditation Program and the Performance Review Institute, making Superior Joining the only facility in the Rockford area with the Nadcap welding accreditation and one of 16 Nadcap-accredited welding suppliers in Illinois.
The precision-welding laboratory is now accredited to perform a wide variety of welding for Fortune 500 aerospace
leaders, such as GE Aviation and The Boeing Company.The 25 year old company’s sales in 2016 were $2.5 million.
They expect to see that grow with the hiring of their first full time sales rep, Ryan Forsell, formerly of Airgas and Ferrellgas.
“We are experiencing strong business conditions and the addition of a sales representative will allow us to better serve our customers,” said Teresa Beach-Shelow, president of the company.
Sales had previously been handled by Superior Joining President Teresa Beach-Shelow and Founder Thom Shelow.
As a part of the company’s growth, Superior Joining moved into a new, larger facility in 2016.
