Sure, Industry Week may rate California #1 for manufacturing, but the majority of the top-rated states for the industry are right here in was once referred to as the “Rust Belt” Midwest.
Industry Week’s new listing released Thursday has five of the top 10 Midwest states listed as:
- #3 – Ohio
- #4 – Michigan
- #5 – Illinois
- #7 – Indiana
- #8 – Wisconsin
