SCHAUMBURG – Manufacturers in East Alton Illinois are learning the basics of General Die Knowledge along with classmates 350 miles away in Schaumburg, IL – via TMA’s first-ever distance-learning class.
Every Monday and Wednesday night from 6 to 9 PM, 14 engineers, sales team members, and front office personnel are becoming acquainted with the basics of die engineering, terminology, stamping design and planning.
The downstate portion of the new class meets 350 miles away at East Alton, IL – based Olin Brass at the same time Schaumburg students gather. The distance learners are able to communicate with instructor Bryan Melgoza via phone and live video broadcast.
