TMA releases second radio ad promoting IL manufacturing

SCHAUMBURG – Have you been driving over the past few weeks with the dial set on WBBM 780 AM or WIND 560 AM and heard this?

“Manufacturing in Illinois is strong and growing stronger,” Rich Hoster, president of Smith & Richardson of Geneva IL says in the ad.

He goes on to say how things have changed so much in manufacturing plants that they are no longer “your granddad’s factory.” Environments conducive for high tech products for medical, aerospace and technology are much more common now, Hoster says.

The Technology & Manufacturing Association is running these ads with the hope of returning the industry back into everyday conversations and viable alternatives for the next generation of career-seekers.
