United Scrap Metal recognized for outstanding leadership and performance

United Scrap Metal, one of TMA’s associate members, is not only great at recycling scrap metal, they’re being recognized and getting awards for the great job they’re doing.
Earlier this month, United Scrap Metal was awarded the Platt’s Global Metals “Scrap & Recycling Leadership Industry Award”! The award was accepted by United Scrap Metal’s Vice President, Jodi Keller, and CEO, Marsha Serlin (as pictured to right).
A former Platts CEO of the Year winner, Serlin says she wants her company to make a positive impact in the lives of others, with a focus on professionalism and customer service that provides a memorable experience.
“I am fortunate to have a company with talented, committed team members that will continue to challenge and innovate to maintain success,” she said.
Soon after the Platts’ award, United Scrap Metal was recognized again – one of their customers, ComEd Exelon. The company was awarded ComEd Exelon’s Overall Performance Award, in the category Construction and Material Services at ComEd’s 2018 Supplier Diversity Celebration.
