TMA Honors Longtime Members At 92nd Annual Dinner

SCHAUMBURG – The Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) – in its 93rd year – set aside time to recognize longtime members and associates at the group’s annual dinner held March 3rd, 2018 at the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg.

Among the 17 companies that received special recognition for being involved in the association for an extended length of time was Charles E. Larson & Sons of Chicago, which has been among TMA’s faithful associates for 75 years, first joining in 1943.

Five companies were recognized for being members for 50 years: Acomtech Mold, Inc., Lindy Manufacturing Company, Sure-Crimp Connector Company, Techpack and Tella Tool & Manufacturing.  Drill Rod & Tool Steels, Inc. of Franklin Park has been an associate member of TMA for 50 years.

Nine companies were honored that have been a part of TMA since 1993: Allways Precision, Inc., Component Products, Inc. Component Tool & Manufacturing Co, E & J Precision Machining, Inc. Midwest EDM Specialities, Qualiseal Technology, Swiss Precision Machining, Technatool, Inc and Weber-Stephen Products Company. TMA celebrated its 25th year of having Rolled Metal Products as an associate member.

Jim Brown of Weber-Stephen Products Company joined the celebration Saturday evening and received an appreciation certificate from TMA President Steve Rauschenberger.

“Longtime members of an association indicate that TMA is doing its job by providing needed services for these companies,” Rauschenberger said. “We appreciate their longtime support and involvement, and look forward to continuing to serve them in the years ahead.”

TMA serves manufacturers throughout the Chicagoland region by offering health care programs, 401 k fund plans, essential industry training, as well as networking and information to grow and assist their members’ businesses.
