Canadian Manufacturer To Open Plant In Central IL

HUDSON – Canadian based Brandt is hiring for its new headquarters in central Illinois, TV station WAND 17 is reporting.
The company purchased a manufacturing plant just north of Bloomington. The plant was once Kongskilde. Brandt says the project would create 500 new jobs.
According to the company, they will produce grain handling and tillage equipment at the plant.
The company president says they picked the location because of the abundance of corn grown in Illinois and the skilled work force.
