CHICAGO, IL – At the 91st Annual Dinner of the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) on Saturday evening at the Mid-America Club, 300 Illinois manufacturers and their loved ones came together to celebrate manufacturing in Illinois.
“This room is full of the cream of the crop in Illinois. You are the economic engine that drives this state, employing more than 30,000 of our hardest-working residents,” said Steve Rauschenberger, who was re-elected as Secretary and President of TMA. “You’re thriving despite all the challenges we face, a clear testament to the strong businesses you’ve built and the support that TMA provides. I am excited to see our organization continue to expand in our 92nd year.”
At the dinner, TMA’s 2017 Board of Directors was recognized, including incoming Chairman Aaron Wiegel of Wiegel Tool Works. In addition, four new Board Members were introduced, and outgoing Chairman Jim Carr of CARR Machine & Tool was thanked for his dedicated service to TMA.
